New horizon?
I am getting ready to do something I haven't done in almost 5 years, which is go to an interview. It's for a job in a completely different field than what I have been in for the last 5 years. I did a similar job in 2000, but left after that particular company went bankrupt. I've needed a change of scenery for a little while, and am ready to move on.
The nice thing was I was contacted less than 2 hours after I sent my resume. :) This company didn't waste time contacting me.
I found out about 7pm that since I haven't been in that field for six years, they didn't feel I would fit right now, but there is still hope in a PC tester job at the same location, so all is not lost. :)

Good luck, Dave! My money's on that the job is yours (especially since they wasted no time contacting you). Cool news!

In the words of the job hunter's bible, 'What Color is Your Parachute?' Author Richard Bolles' the average American worker will change jobs seven times, so you might as well look upon it as a learning experience.
I always figured I'd changed about thirty times so I was ahead of the game!
I think this sort of change is good for the soul Dave, and I wish you well.
