When the Pearls are Worn,
Persecution Begins
Loneliness, a bitter pill
That I have been forced to swallow.
It fills me up against my will,
In tearful regret I wallow.
The moaning winds, around they blow
Persecuting my emotions and my mind.
Making time and my thoughts seem very slow.
Loneliness, the only emotion of its kind.
Is it my fault, I silently wonder,
That I’m such a quiet introvert?
While other girls openly snag their plunder,
I stand alone feeling hurt.
I don’t want to be like those other girls,
But I hate feeling rejected and alone.
*I where my pain like a necklace of pearls.
*Everyone else, carries a stone.
There you go...^^^
