I hate...

Apple. Not the delicious fruit, the company. The entire music world has become a slave to their white thing that plays the funky jams. It annoys me. I try to find music online, oldies, like "Smoke on Water" or "American Pie" and I am greeted by fourteen second bits sponsored by Apple. Do you think Don McLean cares if I get to listen to his song? Or AC/DC will get very angry that I happen to be listening to Hell's Bells for free?

Of course, I could always buy the CD's, but I am currently saving my money.( I know, what a novel idea.) People always give me funny looks when I say "I don't have an IPOD", as if I am some alien with a bit of spinach between my teeth. All I want is to listen to some music, but alas, the world does not seem to agree with me here.

However, I am currently listening to American Pie. Thank you americanpie.com. I love you so much. ;--)

  • I don't have an Ipod either. Or an mp3 player. And I don't really have a desire to get one.

  • Music shouldn't be free. I don't paint houses for nothing.

  • Ipod`s are great to me...I mean I enjoy them and they don`t cost as much as they use to when they first came out. Me, being the stuid person that I am brought it when it first came out, but it didn`t make a difference to me..And plus you could pla alot of songs on it..It could be all of your favorite songs new or old

  • I rely upon winamp on my computer where I have stashed a lot of my music, my hi-fi and a poratable cd player that was a Christmas present. I have no intention of getting an Ipod as the battery life is terrible and the batteries cost almost as much as the machine. Been thinking about an mp3 or possibly a Palm with a gig or 2 of ram. I jsut bought Terry Reid - The River on cd, it cost £6.49 for some of the most sublime tracks ever laid down.
