The 300
One day last week, I was looking on-line for books through amazon.com, I believe it was...and what to my wondering eyes did appear, but a notice that "300" is coming out onto DVD July 31st! Could my July have gotten any better?!? First, we have the 5th Harry Potter movie, "Order of the Phoenix," coming to theaters on July 11th...then we have the 7th HP book, "Deathly Hallows" (I think that's the correct title), coming out at midnight on July 20th. I didn't think it would be possible to fit one more extremely cool release into this amazing month of July 2007...but then call the neighbors and wake the kids, holy cow, here comes "300"!
I saw "300" twice when it came out and loved every minute of it...wait a second, I guess I didn't love every minute. Being a somewhat conservative female, there were two parts which I felt could have been left out...but I suppose there are folks out there (men, perhaps?) who would have missed those two scenes...I'll leave it to your imagnation which two scenes I'm referring to! :)
Seriously, though, I thought it was very well done, and I'm so excited to have it on DVD!

Sorry, but I just had to laugh at all those pumped-up pecs in "300"! Looked like Gold's Gym gone medieval(sort of) on my ass!But my 24 and 13 y-o loved it! How's things in Idaho? I'd love to live in a place that has REAL seasons!Like, we are in mid-winter and the temperature yesterday was 75! Boring!

It was rather shocking at first...I had no idea Gerard Butler had a body like that...then I had to wonder if it was computer enhanced! :) But the story was so awesome - anything like that with loyalty and sacrifice just gets me every time!
Idaho is GREAT! I absolutely love living here! I grew up in Boise, which is southern Idaho and HOT most of the time, but up north, where Moscow is, is gorgeous, with, as you said, 4 real seasons!
