Blog Home | My Blog

Hi and welcome to all.

Hi everyone!

I had to start the blog off somehow and could think of nothing better than to welcome any visitors. As you may have read in my profile, I am a professional musician and therefore am very lucky to earn my living doing something I love ... playing music!

How many of you also have jobs that don't seem like work too? Please feel free to tell or alternatively post a comment. Please note that there may be a short time lapse before any message appears as they have to be checked first (by me *grin*) to make sure they are printable! So no need to think it hasn't been sent and resubmit.

I also mention in my profile my favourite guitar in my collection. It's a customised, blue Fender stratocaster, and I'm including a picture of it here (incidentally, the small Fender amp is obviously for home practice only). I look forward to reading any responses, should I be lucky enough to get any, and am happy to answer any questions anyone may have.

I'm sure many different topics will crop up as we go along and, hopefully, some good debate may ensue.

Good luck and happiness to all.

Kenny

  • Hello Kenny, I've seen you many times in the quizzes, and I am also in London. If I get it (which is rare) I also enjoy my work as a psychotherapist, and my TV work which is all pleasure as so far it's all been unpaid. My grandpa was a session guitarist with a shop in the West End (still there) where I worked in my free time for many years, and met many top musicians.
I play a little guitar as well as piano and also have a Strat copy I painted blue after the Shadows.

  • Hi Satguru, yes I've seen you in the quizzes too ... usually beating the hide off me :)
I should imagine that the psychotherapy work is very interesting and very rewarding, in as much as you're helping people.
What kind of TV work do you do? I appeared on a couple of shows in my touring days but obviously that's different to what you do ... isn't it?
It's also good to read that you play guitar and piano, as I've always firmly believed that music is a natural healer and can sooth a troubled mind, though doing session work varies so much and sometimes I have to play stuff that doesn't really 'fit' me. Still, I'm not complaining in the least since I can play away to my heart's content at home.
By the way, I made it into the geniuses last night, so we get to meet head on again.
All the best, and happy quizzing.
    Kenny

  • I've always wanted to be on TV but ended up getting my 1st speaking role as an expert on ufos, regressing people who thought they've been abducted by aliens.
There is definitely something happening as the information they produce is too technical and similar to be made up, and is part of my spare time occupation as a general psychic researcher.
The global is years of doing it over and over again, including hard core. Just practice and familiarity, but I think you'll have little trouble making immortal this time. I have numerous sites all linked through www.kingsbury.tk so you can see all my activities. I was interested in the supernatural and psychotherapy most of my life and am glad to have the chance to combine the two for the TV as well.

  • 6strings, I want to talk to you.

  • Hey there Kenny - nice blue guitar thingie you have.

I would love to have a job I enjoy. I used to love my work, but am getting bored with it lately, and need to branch out into something new. Watch this space, but not too closely... it may take a while to decide what it is that I want to do.

  • Thanks everyone for your input. I have seen what I am convinced was a UFO when I was younger but decided against telling anyone since I couldn't see anyone believing me.
mathking97, your message says you want to talk to me so go ahead and talk, or, if you prefer, message me directly instead of through the blog.
Hi 51%, my fellow team mate. If you're bored with the job then I guess it is time for a change. I will watch this space and I wish you well in your search for the right thing.

  • Hey Kenny,

Just watching the Gary Moore video. Halfway through and no harmonica yet. Now, can one really do Blues with a good harp? LOL

I forwarded this blog to a guy that is really into the blues. He did all the hippy stuff/palyed with or met various musicians of that era while living out in California during the 60's through the 90's. I hope he checks this out. I think you guys would alot to chat about.

As for the supernatural, I am a follower of Jesus Christ but absolutely not a Bible Thumper or aggressive/antaganistic typ that many assciate with "one of those!"
