The Flip-side of Maturity

Left flexor carpi radialis     check

Left and right deltoids     check, check

Right teres major     check

Left adductor longus    check

Brain     checked out long ago...

How is it possible to pull all these muscles simultaneously?  Oh right, I'm talking about myself here...  Being an inflexible, not-so-young-anymore person trying to show her kid how to do cartwheels at the playground will probably do it.  When was the last time I did that anyway?  Several years I reckon.  Oh well.  Only the left forearm remains sore.  There were no other people at the park and the grass seemed to be begging me to tumble on it.

Sometimes I give in to my impulsive immaturity.  This was just one of many incidents.  Why not I say?  However, maybe this time I should have stopped at one cartwheel.  I was never very good at gymnastics anyway.  It wouldn't be so bad if my three-year-old was actually impressed with me, but he wasn't.  I'll just stick to running for now.  I don't seem to pull as many muscles that way, and at least the kid likes doing it too.
