If the weather was nicer it would already feel like the summer holidays had started. B hasn't been to school for weeks now becuase of the floods. An old closed down school is being reopened and all of his school are going to be bussed there from Monday, hardly seems worth it now as they only have nine more days of school!

K is really looking forward to the summer hols. I'm not sure if she is looking forward to going to senior school or not. I can't get much out of her. I hope she doesn't come home after the first day and says she hates it!

I I took these pictures hanging out of my bedroom window, the road and path now looks like a river. We 'borrowed' the barriers from some road works near by to close the street as the cars were causing tidal waves. The other end of our street is blocked off with wheelie bins. Three hours later and it's even deeper and no sign of the rain stopping. I'm on cigarette rations as I don't fancy borrowing a boat to look for any shops that are still open.
