The Shins

I crafted a new quiz. Naturally, it's based on an indie band. A little more popular this time, so I hope you'll all do well and find it enjoyable. Have fun!

I like imitating Indie

In the same vein as Indie's MP3 player exploits, I thought I'd see who could recognize my rather diverse choices of music. I'll start, naturally, at the top.

"Neighborhood #1" (Tunnels)--The Arcade Fire

405-Death Cab for Cutie

86-Green Day

A Cautionary Song-The Decemberists

A Scale, a Mirror, and Those Indifferent Clocks-Bright Eyes

After the Bombs-The Decemberists

After the Gold Rush-Neil Young

All At Once-The Fray

All You Need is Love-The Beatles

Always a Bridesmaid-The Good Life

A Rainy Night in Soho-The Pogues

Auf Asche-Franz Ferdinand

August-Rilo Kiley

The Bachelor and the Bride-The Decemberists

The Bagman's Gambit-The Decemberists

Behold a Lady-Outkast

Bend to Squares-Death Cab for Cutie

Bigger than My Body--John Mayer

Black Cadillacs--Modest Mouse

Blacklisted-Neko Case

Blame it on Cain-Elvis Costello

The Bleeding Heart Show-The New Pornographers

Bling(Confession of a King)-The Killers

Blue Orchid-White Stripes

The Bones of an Idol-The Decemberists

Brain Stew-Green Day

Brand New Colony-Postal Service

California One/Youth and Beauty Brigade-The Decemberists

Can't Buy Me Love-The Decemberists

Can't Hardly Wait-The Replacements

Caravan-Van Morrison

Caribou-Pixies

Caring is Creepy-The Shins

Carpal Tunnel of Love-Fall Out Boy(I Don't know why I have this, I really despise it)

The Center of the World-Bright Eyes

Criminal Piece-Ted Leo and the Pharmacists

Citrus-The Hold Steady

Champagne From a Paper Cup-Death Cab for Cutie

Cheating on You-Franz Ferdinand

The Chimbley Sweep-The Decemberists

Clark Gable-Postal Service

Communist Daughter-Neutral Milk Hotel

The Crane Wife 3-The Decemberists

Crazy-Gnarls Barkley

Crazy Love-Van Morrison

Crown of Love-The Arcade Fire

I skipped over a few things, so as to not make this list last longer than any human's attention span. I bet you Indie will be able to name another song from every one of these artists. :)

Bands?

Well, I haven't made a quiz on here in quite a while, but my speciality is in more obscure bands. Of the following bands, which do you think needs a quiz on them:

Wolf Parade

Bright Eyes

The Shins

Franz Ferdinand

The New Pornographers

Neko Case

Or any other that I may have forgotten. Thanks for the input, all.

New Quiz

Hey! A new quiz of mine has been put online for all you fabulous funtriviar's to enjoy. It's on the indie band "Neutral Milk Hotel", and I hope you'll enjoy it. Here's the link

Be sure to rate it!

How long has it been?

Other than the proclamation of my new quiz, I have not posted here in a long time. I've been working on some new quizzes, and after a 2 month hiatus have returned to this site with avengeance.

I have a soccer game tomorrow (suprise, suprise...I'm now a member of three teams). Also, I have a question. When I try to create a new music quiz, it says "Sorry, new quizzes have been temporarily disabled. Try again in a few days." It has been saying this for three days. Anyone have a reason why this is happening?

I resubmited The Decemberists quiz, and it should be online within the next week. My next project is the band Neutral Milk Hotel, which I may then follow with a Wolf Parade quiz. Too many good bands slip under the radar and I hope that by creating these quizzes more people will be alerted of their incredible talents.

Also, should I be disgruntled at the small amount of times my quizzes have been played? I don't have a quiz that has been played anywhere near 500 times, and a few below 100 times. Should I be offended by this? Please, even if you know nothing about my quizzes, give them a chance.
