Some of you have listened to Casey Kasem hosting the American Top 40, which is now hosted by Ryan Secrest.

 

When Casey was host, he had a feature called the Long Distance Dedication.  Casey read letters from listeners wanting to show someone they loved that they cared about them with a song.  But the segment was so cheesy sometimes, you can't help but laugh at the letters.  So I wrote my own parody of this segment.

 

Dear Casey,

 

I would like to send a dedication to my long lost cat Fluffy.

 

Fluffy was my bestest friend in the world.  She loved her catnip ball and we would play with yarn all day, and I would pet her after school.

 

Then my younger brother Billy "accidentally" left the front door and Fluffy ran out, never to be seen again.

 

So, Casey, could you please play "Greatest Love of All" for Fluffy? 

 

Fluffy, I miss you.

I love junk food.  I have to have someithing that isn't on the food pyramid every once in a while.  Here are a few of my favorite junk food morsels.

 

Corn nuts.  You have to love fried corn with a lot of crunch.  Add to that a coating of ranch, BBQ, or nacho, you got a tasty treat.

 

Funyuns!  I could eat a whole bag watching my favorite TV show or movie.  The unique onion flavor makes them real tasy.

 

Pringles.  I'm addicted to the Spicy Guacamole Pringles.  Easy to eat out of the can.

 

Sausage and cheese comboe.  That is kind of healthy, providing a protein boost.

 

Now for something to wash it all down.  How about a can of Red Bull?  I love the taste, which reminds me of Tropical Punch Kool-Aid.  Yummy stuff!
